What Are Threads

Polydioxane (PDO) Threads are a medical grade thread, thinner than hair, that is inserted beneath the skin to trigger the body’s foreign body reaction, resulting in neocollagenesis (new collagen production). The stimulation of new collagen in the treated area causes the skin to firm and tighten producing lift and volume.

Threads can be used to treat:

  • Upper and lower cheeks
  • Forehead and brows
  • Neck and jawline
  • Nose to mouth lines
  • Marionette Lines
  • Arms
  • Buttocks
  • Abdomen

The Injectors at Cosmetic Sculpting Clinic are highly trained in the use of Threads and use only the highest quality products available.

  • Results will be seen after the swelling subsides and will last between 6-12 months depending on your personal circumstances.
